Functional Roots Classes

  • Workout of the Day- WOD

    The Workout of the Day - aka: the WOD - is a strength and conditioning workout that is made up of functional movements performed at a high intensity level. These workouts will help you develop a strong foundation with movements that you will perform in your everyday life. Form is KEY during these workouts, so our coaches will be there every step of the way to help you modify and advance movements as necessary. Without a doubt, you will walk away from these workouts feeling stronger and more confident.

  • Functional Longevity

    Functional Longevity focuses on offering effective cross-training workouts with with a "gentle" approach. Putting more emphasis on mobility and longevity with less competition and intensity. This programming starts members where they are and takes them to more than they thought they could be. It's aim is to demonstrate the no one is to old or out-of-shape to benefit from the basic CrossFit principles of utilizing a variety of functional movements to enhance the quality and longevity of life.

  • Open Gym

    Open Gym happens Monday through Friday from 11:30am-1:00pm. This class option is great for those wanting to utilize their lunch break and get in a quick sweat! During open gym, you can come in and hit the WOD, the Functional Longevity Workout, or work on anything you feel like training that day! While this is not an instructed class, one of our certified coaches will always be available to help guide you and answer questions!

  • Full Body Stretch

    This class is for members looking to improve their flexibility, mobility, and core strength!

    Join us in the gym as we flow through a stretch sequence that will leave your body feeling rejuvenated and ready to take on the rest of your work week and upcoming workouts!

  • Youth Training- Ages 6-17

    Cubs Training (ages 6-8): An engaging class that will introduce the importance of exercise to our little athletes as they develop coordination, balance, and a love for fitness!

    Youth Skills (ages 9-12): During these classes we will focus on educating our middle schoolers on the importance of training to prevent injury & improve performance. We will introduce strength & technique with functional movements while focusing on skills that will build confidence & full body awareness.

    Teen Cross Training (ages 13-17): High-Intensity, endurance-focused, training that will help our High School athletes build strength, endurance and power.

  • At Home Workout

    Not local or looking for an option that allows you to complete workouts from home when you aren’t able to make it into the gym?

    Through SugarWOD we will provide you with a daily minimal equipment workout, body weight workout, and an advanced workout (experience and home gym equipment necessary).

    All of our workouts will include scaling options, instructional videos, and a warm up and cool down! So wether you are just starting your fitness journey for looking for more advanced workouts, we’ve got you covered!

  • Your first class is always FREE! Come in and give us a try!

  • This is our monthly membership. No hidden fees or extended contracts. You will receive access to all of our group fitness classes, our interactive fitness tracking app (with At Home workouts to complete on the go), one free InBody scan per year, and so much more! We provide a wide variety of group classes ranging from beginner friendly to advanced athlete.

    Our fitness tracking app allows us to program and provide you with your daily workouts and offer modification options. Within this app you will also be able to prep for workouts, track your progress, and interact with a trainer and other members all in one place.

  • This membership is perfect for those who are not local, but love to drop in when they can! Pick and choose which 8 classes you would like to attend. These 8 classes must be used within 3 months of purchase.

  • These memberships are for youth ages 6-17 years old and range in pricing due to class length and frequency.

    Cubs Training (ages 6-8): $60.00

    Youth Skills (ages 9-12): $70.00

    Teens Cross Training (13-17): $80:00

  • This membership is for those utilizing child care during the afternoon (4:30/5:00pm) WODs Monday-Friday and the 8:00am WODs on Saturday.

    $25 per family per month

Tracking Your Progess

Functional Roots makes tracking your progress EASY! We provide all of our members with access to an easy to use fitness tracking app. Within this app our members receive their daily workouts, prep for workouts, track their progress, and keep in touch with our trainers and other members. With this handy tool our members have the opportunity to see exactly what their body is capable of!
