What is Functional Fitness? It is a type of fitness that will support you in your every day life…how you move, how you feel, how you recover. It can be done anywhere and it will help you build strong roots to a new and redefined confidence throughout your everyday life. When you sign up for a Functional Roots Membership, you will receive access to all of our group fitness classes, our fitness tracking app, and so much MORE! Every day is something new, so you will never get bored. Every workout will help grow stronger. So if you are just starting your fitness journey or if you are looking to dig deeper into your true fitness potential, we’ve got you covered!
02 — Nutrition
No fitness program is complete without proper nutrition. Food is fuel for your body and has a huge impact on your success. There are a lot of fad diets out there, but they are typically restricting and hard to follow or maintain. Let us help you learn how to intentionally eat in order to fuel your body the way it was designed to function!
03 — Recovery
Functional Roots encourages self-care on a daily basis. From massage therapy to physical and mental tension release through stretching, self-myofascial release, and yoga practice. Proper self-care will bring your mental and physical health to a whole new level. We currently offer Full Body Stretch classes and we are excited to offer even more variety in the future. In addition to Full Body Stretch, each daily class has a “Cool Down” which has stretches tailored to the workout completed!
